XnViewMP 0.50 & fit

Post by Redsandro »

Very nice indeed. Fully customizable hotkeys. Nice!

Problem: Large pictures do not downsize properly to fit the screen. They remain half-zoomed-in or way too much zoomed out.
Is there a new option I need to set for this? 0.39 runs fine with this.

Also, it crashed twice on me after changing the options and going back to fullscreen (f11).

For me it works ok on both ubuntu 32 and 64 bit, try to check your View/Auto Image Size settings in Viewer Mode.
This issue will only apply to images that are smaller than your screens resolution.
I hadn't noticed that that menu had been moved to view from preferences- thanks :)
-- However, It's own choice for zoom to be 100%
overpowers fit to window large only. which is ignored in fullscreen.
I'm also ubuntu 64bit.

edit: FIXED
It depends how you chose the options.
I had to fit image to window width or height
Then go fullscreen
Only then close. Or it forgets the change.
thanks perfect now :D :D :D

quatzar is right, you need to manually change the view (there is no default view in options) and then close the view after you close the options first.
Or something. To be honest I don't know exactly what I did. But it's not very intuitive. I think I had to issue a manual cmd_fitAll.

Once it works, it's awesome though!

You open a view, change fit settings, open another view?
