Hello,
just wanted to ask if XnView will also run on Mountain Lion and work with the Gatekeeper function of this version of OSX?
Additionally, I am quite sure someone probably asked before, but will XnView ever be available as a free or paid download from the AppStore?
There's nothing comparable to this great program to be found there, and I would be more than willing to pay a few euros for it!

What is GateKeeper??and work with the Gatekeeper function of this version of OSX?
Free, now all apps on store must be with Sandboxing, and XnView in a sandbox is not really useable...Additionally, I am quite sure someone probably asked before, but will XnView ever be available as a free or paid download from the AppStore?

Re: XnView MP & Apple GateKeeper
"Gatekeeper is a new feature in OS X Mountain Lion that helps protect users from downloading and installing malicious software. Signing your applications, plug-ins, and installer packages with a Developer ID certificate lets Gatekeeper verify that they are not known malware and have not been tampered with."xnview wrote:What is GateKeeper??

Additionally see here, too: http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/12 ... _lion.html
Basically it's a optional app restriction...well, for now it's optional... ;(
I don't understand, sorry. Why is sandboxing bad for the program's usability? I am not a programme, that's why I'm asking... From what I understood sandboxing is meant that no malicious code can affect your software. That's a good thing, or not...??Free, now all apps on store must be with Sandboxing, and XnView in a sandbox is not really useable...
