Please add an option "Pressing ESC once quits XnView", like in original XnView
And add 'Exit' option into context menu of fullscreen image.

+1! "ESC exits viewer" (either fullscreen or not) needed...
Also, if in fullscreen, Alt-F4 doesn't close the viewer, but exits fullscreen. Maybe it'd be better to exit, as Alt-F4 closes any application by default.

very important. I also have had this idea and let him know
It should work out of the "full-screan" mode // I would use space to jump & toggle into the explorer.
On top it would be fine to have "pre-defined" windows in rato 16:9 and 3:2 to select and copy.
I often "zoom into" a picture and select a new area to be stored. Here this feature is a must ....
