XnView 1.99 Changing UI Language

Post by scooterXnview »

Changing the UI language in the settings does not change the UI entirely to the chosen language. While the menu texts have changed, all other texts (Preview pane, tabs, status bar) remain unchanged unless you restart XnView.

Okay Pierre, no problem in restarting XnView. A number of other applications require this procedure as well.

But it is quite vexing that I need to do it, for parts of the UI got already translated, why not the other parts, too? If this is a problem of the underlying programming language (as this is the fact with Java, e. g.), I propose to display a message box indicating that restarting the application is recommended.
