Arch Linux No Video Thumbnails

Hi,
I know you can't support Arch Linux because all Arch installs are unique,
but maybe you can tell me what library I need installed for video thumbnail generation.

I have no video thumbs in XnView Mp 0.51
I have video thumbs in my file manager.
I am using Thunar as my file manager.
Thunar uses Tumbler to generate video thumbs.
I have gstreamer good,bad, and ugly installed

I read that XnView uses phonon to generate video thumbnails, so I installed phonon and phonon-gstreamer. No luck
I also tried installing ffmpegthumbnailer which also does not help.

Do I need windows codec packs or another library I can try ? I don't want to start installing things at random.

Some more information:
Preview does work for video.

When I try to opn a video with 'Associated Program' [F3] I got the folowing error:
Failed to open URI "file://run/media/video.avi".
Error when getting information for file '/media/video.avi: No such file or directory.

But 'Open With...' [Alt+1] Smplayer [configured program] does work.

Yes, I have gstreamer installed. And the gstreamer-good, gstreamer-bad, gstreamer-ugly plugins all installed
