XnView 1.99 Problems with AI vector files

Reading a folder containing 162 AI vector files, XnView shows a wrong file count in the status bar (10 files rather than 162). The reading progress bar is wrong as well, displaying 50% done while all files being read already and having given thumbnails, and continuing 'reading' until 100% done are being reached. Moreover, while AI files are displayed in the Preview pane, XnView doesn't show them in the View mode.

Systems: XP SP3, latest updates, no specilaized codec packs installed. Same for Windows 7 Home.
