0.51 Lin: unable to change browser pane width when maximized

Yesterday I changed the layout of my xnviewmp, like this:

But when my maximazed the window and restart xnview, the left pane shrinked like this. And everytime I dragged it wider, it shrinked again after restart.

I checked the ini file and noticed that the "geom" item in [start] section changed after maximization:
