[Fixed]RC4: browser flashes open?

Post by scratch »

i notice that when i close XnView and i'm in view/edit mode with no other windows open, it quickly flashes to browser mode before exiting. this is a very minor annoyance, but it'd be nice to see it go away.

XnView close each window, so you see quickly browser (last window closed).
Is it really annoying?

Hmmm :| :? I can't even see the windows closing with my old (comparing to modern compures) windows 98 machine.

a bit. and it happens when i don't even have the browser window open. at the very least, if you made the main XnView window not resize itself to the browser window size (or i suppose the reverse: if i have a browser window open and active when i close, don't resize to view size) when you're exiting the program. i suppose if this isn't possible, it isn't that big of a deal.

@ckv: i'm on a 2.16 GHz machine. maybe my eyes are just faster than yours?

yeah, i doubleclick an image in explorer (to open up xnview in view mode), then hit escape. it flashes by very very quickly. i can only really tell because xnview resizes itself to my browse size before closing.
