Contact Sheet capability

Hi,
When I to create contact sheet (1x2, 2 images in one sheet) from over 14xx images, Xnview halts at 100-200-ish contact sheet. (98% memory used)

Is there a way to fix this?

Or if i can add create contact sheet as part of batch process? my ides is:

1. ONE contact sheet created
2. save as PDF/JPG..etc (user has options) in the same folder or a different folder.
3. create next contact sheet
LOOP.

So it wont used up all the system resources and keep it running at the same time.

just did another test, close all my programs (used memory: 32%, total memory i have is 4GB)
And i found that the max. contact sheets Xnview can create is 324, Xnview is not halt, used memory at 75%.

So I wonder, why 324? Is there a way to increase this number?

The limit is the memory... When creating contact sheet, they are opened in XnView...
