you use ratio 1:1 for the selection, draw a selection and zoom in

I am not sure if I understood you right.
I open a picture , click on the button 100%. Now I draw a selection anywhere in the picture and want XN view to immediately show this selection. In other words to zoom into this selection. This does not work.

immediatly is not possible, you need to click in the selection (with or without the CTRL key)

Thanks!
Is it possible to accelarate this function? It takes about 3 seconds on my (I7 CPU) computer for a very small picture of 2000 x 800 pxl.
