REQ: Minor: Some additional hotkeys/shortcuts

Post by Dreamer »

- Show previous frame - Up arrow
- Show next frame - Down arrow

> when "standard arrow" keys (left/right) are used to "Prev./Next file", up/down keys are redundant, so they could be used to "Show previous/next frame" - currently just Shit+PgUp/Down shortcuts are used for that and it's not very handy...

- Move image - Numpad 'Arrows' 2, 4, 6, 8
- Centre image - Numpad 5

> they would be useful when "standard arrow" keys are used to "Prev./Next file"

- Reopen (view and fullscreen mode) - F5

> as in the browser-quick refresh, F5 is a standard refresh key, current Ctrl+R is not very handy

Note: I don't want to replace any hotkey/shortcut, I just want add those above.

sounds good to me. definitely keep ctrl-r, just add f5. that's how most browsers do it.

Would be cool to have shorcuts for Automatic Levels/Contrast. It's a cool new feature yet not very accessible.

OT: Is Auto Levels what other softwares call Auto Color? It seems to me that it actually does the same as Auto Contrast, can anyone confirm?

Not exactly the same I think ... the "automatic levels" does shifts in color space (so I think maybe R, G and B separately), so sometimes pictures get another color 'hue' ... "automatic contrast" won't do this ...

yes and having a shortcut AND adding into batch convert advanced operations would be much useful ;-)
