Title sums it up.
I basically can't view some directories or images with Japanese or special characters in them.
I'm not about to change my OS's native language as a solution to this.
So I ask, what is a possible solution to this?
Using XnView 1.99
Can't view or browse Japanese

Re: Can't view or browse Japanese
I can't open a jap named files too.
Windows 7 & 8, both 64-bit english and russian locale. It's kinda sad that you need a default viewer for this task, since xnview is far more superior.

xnview, hm.. i checked again with changing the name, for some reason this file doesn't want to open in xnview 0.53x64(win7x64), it opens in Windows default program and paint.net, after saving it through any of those programs as jpeg - it opens in xnview normally
Re: Can't view or browse Japanese
your file is corrupt, if you enable 'ignore read errors' you can load it
