How to make folders "remember" my view mode???

Post by Meddi1980 »

There should be an option for separate way of sorting of files in folders, but I don't know how to enable it... For example, I want the files in "Folder A" to be automatically sorted by their names, and "Folder B" by the date they were modified. I don't want to have to change the sort method every time I open an folder, I want the folders to "remember" my view mode. Just like in Windows.
Thanks in advance.

Right, with XnView Classic it's not possible. With XnView MP one might (partly) achieve this by using the Custom sort order.

Hi Helmut, has "custom sort" been figured out yet? I've used this with ACDSee a lot. Very helpful for organizing and comparing multiple photos. thanks! :D
