Re: Slideshow: Check for new images
Hi,
I tried the "watch for new images" function in XnView 1.99 and it does not work.
I added a directory and after starting the slideshow, I can put new images in the directory but they are never shown.
I'd be willing to buy 15 licenses if this works somehow and would be delighted if one little annoyance could be eliminated:
If I delete a picture from a directory and I checked the option "Suppress read errors"; the error is not displayed, but
no crossfade is made, but a simple cut transition...
Regards, ray

OK.
The "Watch" function does not recognize if pictures are moved to the directory.
The need to be copied (created) for this function to work properly...

I've described it sometime ago here: View pictures added to a folder automatically
So the only thing missing now is the option that the diashow is not ending after the last picture and instead waiting for new ones to arrive, with "loop" disabled offcourse.
Any chance of this happening? Also, if there was a way to have multiple slideshows on different monitors or maybe instead of the slideshow running fullscreen, it could run in a windowed mode so that multiple slide shows from multiple folders could be running at the same time but resized to fit several on one screen.

Re: Slideshow: Check for new images
Was the "check for new images" flag implemented in a released version?
I also need a slideshow that continuously loops through a folder with a slideshow built on the fly of all of the images in that folder, so new images added to the folder also appear in the slideshow without a restart.
