why not cross-platform website ?

why not displaying three platform such as windows mac and linux (maybe solaris and mips and arm ???)

i don't know if free bsd is considered as a totally free software platform... and ubuntu neither

i'm running on raring ringtail and i got your tar gz from typing on google (<- "googlizing") "xnview ubuntu" and i got the archive for x86 but my system is a x64...

Hmm, not quite sure what you mean: On the XnView download page, it says Windows | Mac | Linux - clearly separated. Do you mean this official XnView download page or did you perhaps use a different one?
