Tagging images in preview mode

I really would like to have the ability to tag/untag images in Preview Mode - I had this feature in an image browser I used to use before Xnview and it was pretty useful. Thanks!

I am using cam2pc until finding better replacement. It has a keyboard shortcut "*" both in full screen and in thumbnail view to add photos to the "current album". It has a similar function as tag. I find it very practical, especially in full screen view, because it allows me to categorize my photos (most importantly: select the better ones) in no time, from the view that gives me the best possible view to evaluate the photo (nothing better than full screen, except zooming occasionally - or a bigger screen). A single keystroke is essential to be fast. I liked the star (*) because it is located very close to page up and page down.
