I've received a request by Harald, a German XnView user and could really help him. Perhaps other people stumbled over the same problem and have a solution.
Mail to multiple recipients does not work
In XnView browser you can select images and then send them via e-mail (Tools > Send by emaill or context menu "Send by email).
In the dialog "Send by email" you can specifiy recipients. When specifying multiple recipients using the standard separator "semikolon" (;) and then sending the mail, Outlook 2007 will open up. But when trying to send the mail out Outlook tries to find a contact using the whole text (not the parts separated by semikolon). Sure enough, such a contact does not exist (e.g. "recipient1@abc.com;recipient2@abc.com") and you cannot send out the mail until you have edited the "To:" field in Outlook.
This handling is cumbersome, therefore I'd like to know what the correct way of specifying multiple recipients is. Is this just a problem of Outlook 2007? Or the way XnView passes the parameters to the mail client? Could people please check with mail programs other than Outlook 2007?

Re: Sending images to multple recpients does not work
Hello Helmut,
For me the best way is to proceed by 2 steps and use an *.xbs custom script.
1-) Select or tag(for "multi-folders") Pics, ...Batch Processing, ...build your custom script (directory=4email, transformations etc...) and ...save it, and ..."GO".
2-) Open your favorit email client software, ...joint all Pics from "4email" folder, ...and proceed as usual....
I do this way (XnView & XnViewMP).
PS: It will be interesting to also have an option for .xbs script: Actions = Compress files/Pics as zip file

Re: Sending images to multple recpients does not work
I'm just browsing and came upon this post . . . . In my case, I leave the recipients box blank and after preparing Subject and text message then hitting Go, I get directed to my email agent - ready for me merely to choose the recipients from my address book.
