Suggest: Retouch tool

Another suggestion: A retouch tool in Preview tab for smearing over a little detail or smudging out a face etc

The one in Picasa was really handy, effectively a clone tool. One could right-click on some part of the image and then left click to clone that area on where the mouse is.

But a tool to blur a selected area would be good too. I couldn't find one in 0.51.
Perhaps an option to apply any tool to whole image or selected area -is that possible?
