I've installed xnconvert from a deb package on my Wheezy system. I have no problems converting raw images from my Kodak P850 at full quality and size (it's a 5mp camera). When accessing raw files from my Panasonic G3 (16mp) I find that I can convert a fill size image at about 70% quality, but when attemtping to convert at highest quality setting, I get:
---------------------------------
/home/ray/panasonic/P1000093.RW2 3464x4608x24 : loaded
/home/ray/panasonic/P1000093_result.webp : failed
Input files: 1
Extracted pages: 1
Overwritten: 1
Total Duration: 12 second(s)
--------------------------------------------
and only a 20 byte webp file with the following contents (octal dump):
0000000 122 111 106 106 166 074 134 000 127 105 102 120 126 120 070 040
R I F F v < \ \0 W E B P V P 8
0000020 152 074 134 000
j < \ \0
--------------------------------
Am I bumping up against a limitation of xnview, or is this simply a bug.

Re: problem converting Panasonic G3 raw
I'd be happy to send you a raw file - the upload attachment on reply tells me the extension rw2 is not allowed. I also tried with no extension and got the same error. I looked at sending a PM to you, but I can't find any provision for doing that. Could you send me an e-mail address (the file is about 19mb).

Re: problem converting Panasonic G3 raw
I did some checking last night on my 32-bit Atom system. With a setting of 97 or higher it produces the failure. 96 works fine.
