How to show hex data in preview window if the file is not image

I forget how to set this

  1. Tools » View in Hex Mode
  2. Tools » Options » Read/Write » General » Show hexadecimal for non-displayable files

Yes, you can open images in Hex mode using XnTriq's steps. Displaying hex in the preview pane is not possible, I think.

Although a (INI-type) text file, \XnView\default.bar isn't recognized as such and displayed hexadecimally in the preview pane. However, I don't know if there's a (hidden) setting to enable this behavior for all (unknown and known) formats.
