Saving customizations on toolbars

Post by Hamurtz »

Hi,

Every time I update Xnview I have to redo my toolbar button customizations. Can they be saved so I don't have to do this each time I update?

Thanks, hamurtz

  1. Go to Tools » Options... » System integration » Integration to find the Folder used for other files.
  2. Open that folder with your file manager and look for .bar files.
  3. Copy the .bar file(s) to a safe place (backup) and rename it (e.g. custom.bar).
  4. Uninstall the old version of XnView.
  5. Install the new version of XnView.
  6. Copy the backup of custom.bar to the Folder used for other files.
  7. Open xnview.ini with your text editor, look for the [Start] section and change the path to match your settings.
