XVMP 056 on Xubuntu 1304
When cropping a large image, I find it rather difficult to adjust the cropped area since the border line can be adjusted by using the small boxes only (4 at each corner, 4 at each side). This happens when I zoom in the image to see the detail of cropped part.
To me, it would be much easier if I can use the whole border line as the cropped-area selection.
If I am not mistaken, I can do that with gthumb (I have removed gthumb).

Halo.
I mention the following image viewer to make you see what I mean, just in case if it is not clear.
Please try "FastStone Image Viewer" ver. 4.8 (for Windows) and use its crop feature.
http://www.faststone.org/
I see that FastStone does not have a crop-rotation feature.
In XnViewMP, I never use the crop-rotation feature. So, if there is an option to disable the crop-rotation and to use the whole border line as the cropped-area selection, I will use that option.
Personally, I think XnView, as a whole, is still better than FastStone.
Thank you
