OpenEXR - Tiled (MIP)

Hello,

I need to convert a hires TIFF-image (86400x43200) to a tiled (MIP) OpenEXR-image. I was hoping XnView would to the job, but it seems OpenEXR-support is rather limited. Is the EXR libs from the openexr site? And is tiled EXR even supported?

Is that possible to add write support of OpenEXR and least with ZIP Scanline compression? please... i need to convert thousands of uncompressed EXR to compressed EXR
