I used to press Ctrl+U and Shift+Delete, and now none of them lefted in XnViewMP.
Ok, i'll add 'Batch convert' in view mode
I suppose having ctrl+u working in view mode isn't a problem.
But I still fail to understand the purpose of opening batch convert module when you can only have one image as input.

+1!
GUI/Workflow error.

Another idea would be to have the possibility to add a strip of thumbs with the files from the main photo's dir in the same way (...and orientation! ...and resizing! ...and possibility to hide it! :) ) in which is implemented in the Compare window. Of course, here the strip must support multi-selection and then one can add Batch convert.

One might argue that this can be simulated in a layout like in one of my prev posts. However the difference is that here the user has the edit tools where in the Browser does not.

Well, we get closer and closer to Lightroom Developer module, ASP Edit mode and Zoner's Editor... ;-)

A natural evolution IMHO...
