Mouse wheel zooming bug

Sometimes I capture an image then use my mouses scroll wheel to zoom. Occasionally is goes out of control and zooms in and out far too much. It seems to be when I use it quickly after the image has loaded. There is no problem with my mouse at any other time. I noticed this bug a while ago but it does not appear often. It is something do with using it quickly.
