When converting .TIFF to .WEBP or JPEG-XR, no metadata is present in created files,
but both WEBP 0.3.1 and the newly JXRLIB do support getting metadata from source file.
.WEBP and .JXR that have metadata, are not labelled as such since the icons are missing
that are used for tags in .TIFF and .JPEG.
While we an select 'lossless' for JPEG2000 format, we cannot select lossless modes
for JPEG, WEBP and JXR. Is that intentional?
Also, looking at image properties, for 'compression' it says 'none' on lossless .WEBP -
would it be possible to detect lossless and then just write 'lossless'?
'Compression none' is also displayed on lossless JPEG-XR while on HP-Photo files
(.WDP) 'wavelet' is shown as compression type.
On HDRI images with RLE compression, also 'compression none' is displayed.
Best regards,
Stephan
