How to view avchd files (mts.;m2t)

Hi, in principle the subject line already is my question:
Can I view video files (especially AVCHD, but also MPEG2, VOB, AVI etc.) with XnView ?
Are there special plug-in´s or add-on´s necessary?
After trying several programs for photos I like XnView best. For establishing a comprehensive
file system I´d like to work with only one program for both photo and video.
