can't read Illustrator format

can't read Illustrator format

I've just downloaded XNview (standard version) JUST because it's written it can read .ai format. But it can't! Although .ai format is in 'supported formats" list,
that's really annoying.
Plus, it can't read files if the directory name is not in English, is it supposed I am gonna rename half of my directories?!! PLease help.Thanks in advance.
