.PSPIMAGE files created in PSP X - won't open in XnView

Post by scoaster90 »

Hi all. I searched the board for this topic but didn't find an answer. I used to use Paint Shop Pro X (Corel; the next version after v9) and saved master files in the .PSPIMAGE format. I would like to reopen them but I'm on Windows 8 now and don't want to reinstall that old program. I had read on a search engine that XnView could open .PSPIMAGE files, so I downloaded the minimum version of XnView and then installed all the available addons. When I bring up XnView, I see a thumbnail placeholder for the file I want to open but it doesn't actually show a thumbnail picture and the program won't open the file either. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Oops...I'm so sorry, I missed your reply months ago. I realized I probably created the original pspimage files in an earlier version of PSP...if you would still like the samples please let me know. Thanks.
