XnView forgets the setting of "auto image size"

When i set [ View / Image size / Auto image / Fit image to window, large only ] preference, it only works until i turn off or reboot then xnview forgets the setting. Is there any way to fix it, or it is a bug ?

Before XnViewMP exits, does a popup window for saving the session appear?
If not, go to Settings > General > "Confirm 'Session' saving on program exit" (check it)

Does saving the session solve the issue you face ?
