GIF-Animation-Loop in Slideshow stops

Post by korreal »

Hello,

I use version 1.99.5 of XnView on WinXP and there is a problem with GIF-Animations during slideshows and quick-slideshows:
GIF-Loops
(this for example
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... n_book.gif
but also really all other gif-animations)
will always only play once and then never restart.
This problem never occurs in normal view mode or in previews, only in slideshows.
This problem exists for a long time (from at least 1.8X).

Maybe XnView internally handels slideshows as animations so it creates a problem, when there is a animated loop in there? Only a vague guess...

Thank you for this program and all your hard work! :)

Best regards
