RC6: Embedded thumbnails & EXIF auto rotation?

From what I can see EXIF auto rotation not work for embedded thumbnails. Do these two options exclude each other or can this be fixed?

Hm, don't know what you mean? Everything works fine.
Even serving EXIF auto rotated embedded thumbnails to TC works fine.

They're properly auto-rotated for me (after restart or cache cleanup though)

Oops, right, this does work. I've tried with another set of images and both auto rotation and embedded thumbnails work together.
