Display Metadata when viewing slideshow

Post by XnView_User »

Is there an option to view some of the metadata in a slideshow?
I would like to be able to have a caption for some of the images when viewing the images.
The caption can be above or below or on top of the image.
I'd also like to be able to format the caption (font, color, location, size, etc.).
I use XnView for adding the Metadata, but don't know how to use it for displaying the data.
If this isn't really what XnView is designed for, is there another program that I can use for displaying data (as opposed to editing and sorting my photos)?

Hi,
I used information in "More options", but it does not work correctly for the font.
E.g. for the font "Arial" I can choose the "Script" as well, in my case "Central European". But I cannot find this information in *.sld file. In the slideshow the special letters from the Central European script of the Arial font are displayed wrong then.
How to get correct letters? Thanks!
