V2.13 - 'Browse with XnView' option does not work

Windows 7 64-bit.
When I select the 'Browse with XnView' option, it does not take effect. I have all file browsers closed, open XnView, open Options, select this option, close Options, re-open Options, and this option is no longer selected.

I have selected "save settings to INI file", and User directory, both selected.
Is there a fix for this?

Have you tried running XnView with Admin rights?

In Windows 7 writing to any of the available ini locations requires Admin rights, but for some reason the usual UAC request doesn't seem to be generated automatically...

Not really my speciality but a possibility?

I shouldn't have installed in Program Files, I usually know better.
