Beep when done

Post by cicciobello »

Batch convert: add option to "beep" when batch conversion is complete.
Maybe a personalized WAV/MP3 file, so I can hear my favourite song of Justin
Bieber when batch conversion is done. :-D

Other question: when I disabled an action via checkbox, at next open of Batch
convert, disabled action is not present.

Suggestion: a dropdown menu like "Add action" to save/restore sets of actions
for specific tasks, same as macros.

It beeps for me. See sig for specs. Perhaps you do not have a Default Beep sound assigned in Windows Sound settings?

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....!!! (fading away)
(perhaps I would vote for this but Justin Bieber's music just scares me...)

Yes - most probably the 'disabled' state isn't persisted. Which... hmmm... it could be disputable if it is good to persist it or not. Perhaps is better to save it. Perhaps.

I think that we have this already. On the bottom-left of the dialog. There are two buttons there Save and Open Script. In the drop down box you'll find the saved scripts (IOW lists of actions).

Aaargh! I have set system sounds to "No sound".
I think that XnViewMP play custom sound, not system beep.

Enable/disable action is more quick than open menu, submenu, select and set options.

Yes, good. I intended dropdown button for faster selection.
