With MP4 & some Mpg files only one thumb shown, is there a way to fix this?

It depends on the codec you use and the length of the video

Do you know which codec should I use?
While 21 mins. wmv has 4 thumbs, 35 mins of Mp4 has 1 thumb btw.

I have found the solution. During K-lite Codec Pack installation all Directshow source filters should be set as Haali splitter.
