I have multiple printers installed (Windows 7). How do I choose which printer I want to print to? I would have thought it would have been a tab on the print dialog or a page setup option, but I can't find a way to switch printers.
Thanks.

The printer selection menu only appears after clicking on 'Print' :proximous wrote:I have multiple printers installed ... How do I choose which printer I want to print to? I would have thought it would have been a tab on the print dialog ...
As clicking on 'Print' is normally the final action in printing that does seem non-standard and rather confusing...

Re: Choose a different printer
Thanks. It is so non standard that I simply reverted to the old XnView and never even tried the Print button (assuming it would use the default printer and immediately print).cday wrote:As clicking on 'Print' is normally the final action in printing that does seem non-standard and rather confusing...
Re: Choose a different printer
?!?
...you reverted to the old XnView just because of THIS??
IMHO XnView MP has much more to offer...
Of course, I support the idea to have a standard 'Print Setup' (or similar) button, just that I'm amazed about your decision...

Re: Choose a different printer
Although a redesign is required to bring the Print dialog into line with normal practice, there is a simple workaround that could be implemented easily meanwhile as a 'quick-fix':
Changing Print to Print... would indicate clearly that there is more to come:
... and that the image will not be printed immediately.
