Xnview runs perfect, but if maximize or change xnview window size, fails.
Have to delete or edit the XnView.ini file to get it to run again.
Xnview can run perfect again, but fails again if maximize or change xnview window size.
So each time I maximize or change xnview window have crash and have to delete or edit XnView.ini file each time I want to run it again.

Merci beaucoup pour xnview

Just install XnViewMP 0.68 and still have the same problem. (XnViewMP installed without uninstall XnViewMP 0.64)
Works fine, but every time I maximize XnViewMP window, then next time I try to launch XnViewMP, it crash.
If I don't change XnView window size, works perfect.

you start XnViewMP, maximize it, close it (you are in the browser?)
Restart it, and crash??

Yes.
1. Start XnViewMP
2. Maximize it
3. Close it (yes, I'm in browser, just maximize and close XnViewMP)
4. Restart XnViewMP
5. XnView openn, then crash. An error windows appear "XnViewMP dejo de funcionar"(spanish) and the only option is to "close".

Now XnViewMP is working perfect for me.
After delete XnView.ini file and restart XnViewMP, I maximize it, browse for differents folders, etc., then when close XnViewMP, I was asked for "save the session". I answered "Yes". After that, the problem solved.

Of course, I don't know what the problem is.

But I suspect that something related to the saved GUI layout vs screen resolution + DPI, font size etc.

Perhaps Pierre can tell to the maximiliano and others where in the ini is saved the layout.

After that, they will delete just these lines and re-try. If it works it means that the problem is isolated there.

Sorry, I don't understand. I have only one user.
I can send screen captures, files or edit xnview.ini if needed, just tell me how.

Ok, I think that m.Th was right.
If I use List instead of Icons, XnView works perfect. If change view to Icons, XnView crash when close and open. Seems that Icons are big for the windows area or something related to this.
By default XnView uses Icons, so after install, when I maximize or change the windows size, XnView fails. Change to List seems to solve the problem.

You mean thumbnails?

1. Please go to menu View | View As...

A submenu appears. One of the options is checked. Which one? (...if you have the GUI in English or any other language which will make it clear for us/Pierre which option is selected).

2. You say "XnView crash when close and open". Well, then before you close it, please do a screenshot. Restart the XnView MP. If the program crashes at the next startup, post the screenshot here to see how it looked the program at the last close before the failed start.

Yes thumbnails (sorry my GUI is spanish) Menu Ver | Ver como ... Miniaturas + etiquetas (XnView by default). If change to Lista (list) no problem.
Attach screen capture
