moving folder and already exists at destination
I have been using an old version of ACDSee in windows for years. XnviewMP is way more powerfull, so many features I will probably never learn them all. However there is one feature of ACDSee I found very useful. If you drag and drop a folder and a folder of the same name exists at the destination, it tries to merge them. If there are any common files in the two folders, it asks you if you want to overwrite or rename for each such file, the same as if you were moving a single file. XnviewMP has identical behaviour when moving a single file, but when moving a folder it only gives you the option of overwriting the whole folder or skipping it.
Re: moving folder and already exists at destination
I did some tests and I think that by "Overwrite", XnView MP means actually "Merge". However
I do think that the visual dialog from single-file conflict should be implemented.
Also there are problems with Folder Copy on an already existing destination. The program should ask "Keep both (rename)", "Merge", "Skip"? - Now it does automatically an "Keep both (rename)" operation
