I had to install Windows from scratch.
Most of my applications are installed on a different partition, XnViewMP as well.
At first, accidentally, I installed XnView in a 'fresh new' folder. Immediately after the install I had to go thru all kinds of settings.
Deeep sigh...
But then discovered my error. I uninstalled XnViewMP (Revo Uninstaller, incl the registry settings and all), rebooted, to make sure.
Then tried to find what would happen if I installed it into the very same folder, which I initially planned to do, but accidentally didn't.
There is no word about this, at least not that I could find.
Well, I gave it a try and was verrry relieved that my settings, at least, most of them, were taken over by the new install.
I had to do the file-association, but I guess that's about it.
But at first I was quite worried, will XnViewMP adopt the previous settings, or not?
Maybe a sticky post about his would help, or a few lines in the release notes?
A suggestion only.
