Hello
I have question.
Im using a XnView to edit graphic files. And i want to convert file like this:
-input file:
http://obrazki.elektroda.pl/8168203700_1353405175.jpg
and i want to have that effec of conversion:
-output file:
http://obrazki.elektroda.pl/1638749100_1353436386.png
Some advanced users of other programs tell me that i have to do step by step this action:
1. Convert file to grey scale (ok iknow where is it in XnView)
2 Duplicate the background to a new layer, the upper layer
3 blur the top layer with a radius of 20px gaussowsko (~ height of a line of text)
4 Change the method of applying the top layer to "share" ("divide")
5 Combine the upper layer to the lower or flatten the image
6 Use the "normalization (uj)" ("normalize") or "auto-levels" ("auto-level")
7 [Optional] Use the "threshold" ("threshold") with the range of 80-90%
8 [Optional] Change the bit depth of the image to B & W (without diteringu).
But i completly no idea what i can do this by XnView.
Im very glad if somone can tell me step by step the best way to change photo like I show, in XnView.
I know that XnView have very good batch editor, and I want to use it. The best way for me will be
when someone tell me what optsion sequence i have to add in this editor.
Thanks for any help:)

A problem: XnView doesn't support layers...kzf wrote:Some advanced users of other programs tell me that i have to do step by step this action:

If you need a freeware software that supports layers you might look at Paint.NET http://www.getpaint.net if it supports all the functions you need, or at GIMP http://www.gimp.org which is a more powerful program.
But it may still be possible to obtain the result you want using XnView with other steps, I'm not immediately sure...
And if you have more photos to make, you could probably greatly simplify conversion to the final images you want by arranging more even lighting of the pages you are photographing.
The enhancement of unevenly illuminated images is of some practical importance in book scanning, for example, and I would welcome any ideas for doing so...

yes i think the same, XnView surely can give the same effect, but i dont know exactly what optsion i have to chose... ok i make some experiments and i even build some kind of DIY scanner with two point lights under camera lens.
