Wrong Resize of ARW Files

Post by billbsb »

Hello,

I'm using XnViewMP Version 0.68 (May 19 2014) on Windows 7 x64 to resize my raw image files and convert them to JPGs but it's not working as expected. Here are some images of the configuration used and general information.

Here's the original image file.
Original file (7z)

When I resize JPG files all works as expected.
Let me know if you need more info.

Cheers!

I think that Pierre is right:

Batch Convert uses by default the Embedded Preview of the Raw files and ARW is known to have pretty small thumbnails (at least for the Sony models which I've tested). It isn't like for Canon (CR2) which the embedded preview is an 1:1 JPEG size representation of the actual Raw file. You can change that in Batch Convert's settings.
