default resampling algorithm when resizing

Post by nanders »

hi all,

I am new to this forum and a happy user of NConvert (v6.17 for linux 64-bit).

I noticed several algorithms can be used to resize/resample images with -rtype linear/gaussian/lanczos and others.
I wonder what is the default algorithm when no rtype argument is presented (to resize jpeg images).

is there anyone who can point me to any documentation?

thanks,
Niels
