My father didn't manage to send pictures by email in XnView, because XnView didn't change the window to the standard email program it uses. He thought, that nothing happend. This happens, if the email program hasn't been startet yet. If the email program is already running, the windows change (tested with Thunderbird).
Ok, my father is very old and doesn't manage many things on the computer, but I have the opinion, that XnView should change windows in any case, because, to send pictures by email is a procedure, that is not completed, if XnView is ready with it, because the email programm waits for the user to click on the send button. This means, that to 99% the user wants to change to the email program window, after he clicked on the OK-button in XnView. It doesn't make sense, that the XnView window stays in the foreground.
If it is not possible for XnView to control the window of the standard email program, XnView could simply minimize its own window and the email program window would be automatically in front. If the user closes the email-compose-window, XnView would be automatically in foreground again.
What do you think about that?
