Hello all,
In my old Xnview, I had the png thumbnails displaying the transparency, may we do that in the MP version ?
Thanks by advance.

Hello Alain
Are Use transparent index (<=8bits) and Use alpha channel activated in the View menu of viewer mode?
You may also want to enable Use checkerboard pattern as background in Tools » Settings... » View » View.

Re: Png transprency in thumbnails
Rebuild thumbnails in the View menu of browser mode should do the trick.

Sorry, I should have been more specific: Could you please also post a screenshot of XnView Classic, so we can see the effect that you are trying to achieve.

Re: Png transprency in thumbnails
Thanks, Alain. I get it now (and learned something new along the way).
Unfortunately, this is currently not possible in MP. Please add your support the topic mentioned in my previous post.

Re: Png transprency in thumbnails
Thanks for the reply,
Maybe it will be implrement in a next version. I know than the .psd files are hugely used into the Adobe world, but in other PAO worlds the.png is very usefull, so I guess that the thumnails transparency for PNG will be highly appreciated by a lot of PAO actors.
About your question about support, I am sorry but I don't understand what is your request, please explain a little bit, my English is very bad.
thanks again.

Re: Png transprency in thumbnails
I just posted a link to your request in “SVG thumbnails of white designs”, because the more users ask for a certain feature, the greater the chances are that Pierre (the developer of XnView) will implement it.Alain wrote:About your question about support, I am sorry but I don't understand what is your request, […]
