Manual "slideshow" that continues across folders ?

Thanks for a good program!

I am looking for one specific feature - that I have been unable to find anywhere, although I imagine anyone would find it useful:

One folder - thousands of subfolders - I would like to click on any given image, and left-arrow/click/spacebar or whatever to continue viewing from that picture. So that at the end of any given subfolder, the viewing just continues automatically to next subfolder, without having to manually exit viewing and manually selecting subfolder.

Should be easy but I can not figure it out. Perhaps another program has this functionality ?

Yes that is exactly what I'm looking for, and the whole reason I installed the program, after extensive searching for a program that will do this VERY SIMPLE THING ....

However, the feature does not work, there is no change in program behaviour

It seems that Go to the next subfolder (fullscreen) makes XnView jump to the next sub-directory at the same level in the folder hierarchy.

Please give this setting a try:

• Tools » Options... » General » Misc. » If no files are selected, use following files for actions » SlideShow [ Use all image files in current folder and its subfolders ]
