0.69 New date/time attr to file after IPTC editing
I need syncing between two computers, because on both pc's we change IPTC data on picture files. Therefore i needed that the date/time file attribute changes after IPTC input. I expected Tools > Settings > General > File operations > and under 'Keep original date/time' uncheck [Embedded metadata change] to do the trick. It didnot. I now discovered the same setting elsewhere: working on a file, after Cntrl I (Edit IPTC), go to the tab Options and uncheck [Keep original date/time file attributes]. And unchecking on both locations does the trick. Redundancy?

So the setting in IPTC dialog works, right?
I need to remove it, and use the one from settings...

Settings F12 Keep original date/time [checked] + Edit IPTC dialog box Options [unchecked] --> New date/time on file
Settings F12 Keep original date/time [unchecked] + Edit IPTC dialog box Options [unchecked] --> New date/time on file
Settings F12 Keep original date/time [checked] + Edit IPTC dialog box Options [checked] --> No new date/time on file
Settings F12 Keep original date/time [unchecked] + Edit IPTC dialog box Options [checked] --> No new date/time on file
So the IPTC dialog box works, and the F12 setting doesnot.
Changing the IPTC setting on the file i'm working on, sets the default setting on next files as well. So i guess you could get rid of the F12 thing.
(Love your xnviewmp btw, i knew windows xnview from the nineties and rediscovered it now as a linux user.)
