Confirm on program close

Post by toothpick »

XNView desperately needs an option to prompt for confirmation upon exiting the program. It's too easy to accidentally close out, not to mention horribly infuriating.

Is there a reason that this hasn't been implemented already?

No, when pressing the X in the upper right. You know, the one by the minimize and restore buttons? The button that closes the program itself, not the window. Pressing Escape closes the window. Not concerned about that.

Two months, no response. Awesome. I guess this is going to be tossed into the "Feature requests I'm going to ignore" pile?

This seems an unusual request as it is not normal Windows practice to provide a confirmation prompt when closing a program, is it?

Do you have this problem with other programs too, and are there applications that provide a confirmation prompt when closing the program by clicking on the 'X' icon?
