Linux 0.69 0.70 0.71 crop function dont' work

Linux 0.69 0.70 0.71 crop function dont' work
I install XnviewMP on a Knoppix LXDE desktop. Crop function seems to do not like Compiz

So i do not like compiz too more than 5 minutes

i cannot select the area with the mouse as usual

yes i tried with pressed button like in a screenshot soft or in Gimp but it do not work
I tried without Compiz and it is the same

When installing XnViewMP, the default mouse action for for selecting an area on a Windows system is ctrl+left mouse click.wubijacq wrote:i cannot select the area with the mouse as usual
If this is the same for Linux, are you holding down the control button when dragging your mouse?
