XnViewMP v0.72 x64 Windows Cannot Change Property after Crop

I knew for quite a long time that after cropping a jpg and save as a new file, properties of the new file could not be changed, for example, ratings, comments ... popup shows:-

and ask me to "try again" or "cancel".

i can't reproduce, i think that crop is not the problem but 'save as', could you try with only 'save as'?

After that I try other jpg files and found that this situation only occurs with jpg files scanned with Epson L355 printer.

I click the crop button, select the crop area, click the crop button again. Then press Ctrl + s, and press OK to confirm save. After that properties could not be saved. It was the same even I tried "save as".

Let me try to reproduce this at another computer.
